Censored Posts

Steve Wicke recently wrote the following to me:

"I have researched internet slander law and consulted with my attorney. We successfully had a bogus myspace site about me removed. I know that the same can be done with this site. I have also learned about the possibility of pursing legal action against the author of slanderous and false blogs."


I have little money of my own. Even with a frivolous suit such as this threat, I would be wiped out if someone like Wicke took legal action against me. I don't have deep pockets and can't even have basic legal paperwork filled out. Everything I posted was my opinion and I included links to everything that motivated my reasoning. Unfortunately, in this day and age, money talks and I wouldn't stand a chance against Wicke's lawyers. I've thus removed my posts. I apologize to the Great Valley District for having to remove them, but I'm not one with influential connections and resources. You can lookup things like Steve Wicke's campaign donations yourself quite easily with a search engine.

I think it's clear from this reaction against me that the right candidates were elected.

Hopefully the next election won't become so heated, but I look forward to researching future Great Valley candidates as thoroughly as I did during this cycle. Have a great year everyone.
